The Christingle is a visual aid which represents key aspects of the work and person of Jesus Christ. It was first created by Bishop Johannes de Watteville of the Moravian Church in 1747, but has been developed and enhanced since then.
This year, as part of our Christmas celebrations we will be using Christingles, remembering Jesus’ love for the world and his light that shines in the darkness. The service is particularly popular with children, but everyone is welcome.
Do join us at 4pm on Christmas Eve for some carols and prayers and take home your own Christingle…
